The  Rochester Veterans Executive Council (VEC) is a united body of veteran leaders and service organization representatives dedicated to supporting and advocating for local veterans and their families. Rooted in the spirit of service and collaboration, the Council brings together voices from across Monroe County and surrounding communities to ensure veterans’ needs are prioritized in public policy, access to care, transportation, and community resources.

In addition to its advocacy and outreach efforts, the Council proudly serves as the administrator of the Veterans Memorial Committee, which oversees the care and preservation of the Veterans War Memorial located at the Blue Cross Arena — a lasting tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our nation. The VEC also maintains the Rochester Memorial Day Parade Committee, which organizes and oversees the city’s annual Memorial Day Parade — a sacred day of remembrance honoring the courage, service, and sacrifice of America’s fallen heroes.
